Adkins Export Packing and Machinery Movers was established in 1968 by Ben Adkins in Louisville, Kentucky, where it is still headquartered today. His packing, rigging and hauling savvy as well as resourcefulness gained Adkins notoriety for being able to lift, load, pack and haul objects that other companies wouldn't even dare approach. In 1994, Ben turned over the business to his stepson Eric Hinderer, and remains employed as the resident, semi-retired, packing and moving expert.

Eric is no stranger to the packing and hauling business. He started with the company as one of Ben Adkins' hard working staff; he learned the tricks of the trade from seasoned veterans. Through his hard work and determination, he climbed his way up the company ladder to become the Owner and Chief Executive Officer. Eric's creativity and philosophy of providing his staff with the best equipment and training has allowed Adkins to grow into new markets.

Eric and Ben have greatly contributed to Adkins' steady growth since the time the company was established and both readily admit this would not have been possible if it weren't for the best group of employees.
